L226 会話の原則 1: 流れ 話題転換1
-レッスンのポイント
While we are on the subject of Zaytox, we have found something unusual.
今回の「流れ」は相手の発言をきっかけに話題を転換する流れ。「~と言えば」という、私たちが日常頻繁に用いている流れです。(The ‘flow’ this time is the flow of changing the topic based on what the other person says. “If you say…” is a phrase that we often use in everyday life.)

異星人ゼイトクスが逃げ出したアメリカの研究所で、 天文学者のニール・ダウンズ博士とメーガンが話をしています。 ゼイトクスの行方に関する手がかりをつかんだのかもしれません。
(Megan is talking with astronomer Dr. Neil Downs at the American research laboratory where the alien Zeitkus has escaped. They may have found a clue as to Zeitkus’ whereabouts.)
