第1週学校生活
健太とレオは、2023年度を振り返って「いちばんの思い出」をプレゼンするという国語の課題に取り組んでいます。日本語で話さないといけないため、レオは緊張気味です。何について話をしたらいいのか、陽菜とジェニーにもアイデアを出してもらい、4人でこの1年間に体験した、楽しかったできごとを振り返ります。
(Kenta and Leo are working on a Japanese assignment to present their “best memories” looking back on the year 2023. Leo is nervous because he has to speak in Japanese. With some help from Yona and Jenny, the four of them look back on the fun things they experienced during the past year.)

第2週日常生活
ジェニーが陽菜に日本のバレンタインデーのことについてたずねます。そして、陽菜はレオに手作りチョコレートを贈ることにしました。チョコレート作りを手伝ってもらったジェニーのアドバイスで、気持ちがはっきりと伝わるデザインのチョコにしたようです。さて、レオの反応はいかに?
(Jenny asks Hirona about Valentine’s Day in Japan. Then, Hirona decides to give Leo handmade chocolates. Jenny, who helped her make the chocolates, advised her to design the chocolates in a way that clearly communicates her feelings. Now, how will Leo react?)

レオは、ホームスティ先の真央たちと歌舞伎を観に行くことになり、陽菜を誘います。能と歌舞伎のちがいすらよくわからない陽菜とジェニーは、インターネットで調べてみて、歌舞伎がいかに伝統と歴史があるものかがわかります。そして、公演を観終わったあと、陽菜はレオに、以前「能のことが好き」と、うそをついたことをあやまります。しかし、今は・・・。
(Leo invites Yohna to go see Kabuki with Mao and his homestay friends. Not knowing the difference between Noh and Kabuki, Yona and Jenny do some research on the Internet and find out how traditional and historical Kabuki is. After the performance, Yōna apologizes to Leo for lying to him about liking Noh. But now…)

「ひな祭り」の季節になりました。あなたはひな祭りの歴史、由来をご存じですか?
ひな祭りは「桃の節句」とも言いますが、なぜ桃の花を飾るのでしょうか? 昔は、ひな人形を紙で作っていたそうです。また、ひなあられには色がついていますが、その色にも意味があるんですね。陽菜がジェニーに説明してあげます。
