学校の試験での正解・不正解の基準と、 実際のコミュニケーションでの正解・不正解の基準は全く異なります。 学校では決まった答えを覚えることが目的となることが多いですが、円滑なコミュニケーションのために大切なのは、 相手にとって分かりやすい 1 2文をパッと言えること、そして相手の言ったことをきちんと聞き取り、聞き取れていることを相手に示すこと。 つまり、「お互いに分かり合えているか」がポイントになります。
(The criteria for correct and incorrect answers in school exams are completely different from the criteria for correct and incorrect answers in actual communication. In school, the goal is often to memorize a specific answer, but for smooth communication, it is important to be able to quickly say a sentence or two that is easy for the other person to understand, and to show that you have heard and understood what the other person has said. の2つはもちろん定番ですが、 復唱したあとの確認の返事として便利なのは Got it. または OK. です。
