動詞 score「（試験などで点を）取る、（試合などで）得点する」

世界各国の１５歳の子どもの学力を測る国際学力調査の結果がまとまり、日本は全ての分野で平均得点や順位が上昇して、世界トップレベルとなりました。

assess「評価する、判断する」前のセンテンスでは、名詞形の assessment が使われていました。
