映画に行くので待ち合わせしていたポールとエミリー。 エミリーが遅れてきたので、ポールがタクシーを捕まえようとします。 予告編を見るのが大好きなエミリーは「予告編に間に合うように着けるかな」(Paul and Emily are meeting up because they are going to a movie. Emily is late, so Paul tries to catch a cab. Emily, who loves to watch trailers, says, “Can we get there in time for the trailer?”)
というキモチで in time を使っています。 in time for -「〜に間に合って」
