ポールが帽子を選んでいて、「これどう?」 とエミリーに意見を聞きます。
正直なところ微妙だったので、なんとコメントしたものかエミリーは迷います。
(Paul is choosing a hat and asks Emily what she thinks.
To be honest, it was a little strange, and Emily was unsure what she should have commented on.)
そんなときに、 I don’t know… と言えば、 「わかんない=なんて言うかな、 なんだろう、どうしよう」などと時間を稼ぐ表現になるのでしたね。
