歓迎の気持ちを表すおもてなしの1つに、 ウェルカムドリンクというものがあります。
One of the hospitality services that expresses the feeling of welcome is a welcome drink.
ホームパーティーでのおもてなしの習慣が、次第に世界各地のリゾート地などに広まり、 ホテルや飛行機のサービスとしても普及したそうです。
The custom of hospitality at home parties gradually spread to resorts and other places around the world, and it became popular as a service in hotels and on airplanes
しかし最近では経費削減のため、 無料の飲み物や食べ物を一切配らない企業も増えています。
Recently, however, more and more companies have started to cut costs by not giving out any free drinks or food.
僕自身、 お水1杯の 「ウェルカムドリンク」を最近体験しました。 この講座に参加してくれた皆さんには、スピーキングのための「おもてなし」 をたくさん用意しています。
I myself recently experienced a “welcome drink” of a glass of water. I have prepared a lot of “hospitality” for speaking to all of you who participated in this lecture.
