Hi there everybody. I’m Christy West.

Christy:
A Serial or series will continue with the same characters and stories over many consecutive episodes. On the other hand, a story that ends in one episode is called a one-off.(シリアルまたはシリーズは、同じキャラクターとストーリーが多数の連続したエピソードにわたって継続されます。 一方で、1話で終わるストーリーのことを単発といいます。)

Christy:
That’s right. In the interview, the man said, “I used to read them a lot, when I was a kid, and it was very fun.” This sentence is quite casual.

Christy:
That’s true. ‘Enjoy’ is a bit of a formal word. I don’t usually use it with clase friends. Mmm. I might use it to be polite after a first meeting. For example, l enjoyed our time together. or I enjoy sports and cooking.
