I need your advice.
= Tell me what you think I should do.
誰かにアドバイスを求めるとき、この表現から話を始めてみましょう。
advice は不可算名詞なので、 I need an advice や I need your advices. とは言えません。
数を伝えたい場合は、 one piece of advice や two pieces of advice と言いましょう。

相手に相談したい内容を話したあと、 「どうしたらいいと思う?」と聞くために、この表現を使ってみましょう。

Riku, do you know the word “advice”?
Advice is, for example, (when) I want to help.
Yes. That’s right. Yeah. “Advice” is an opinion or suggestion about what you should do in a particular situation when you want to help someone.
Right. Sometimes, when you’re in a difficult situation, and you don’t know what to do, you might ask someone for advice.
Right. And then that person might give you some ideas or suggestions about what you should do.
Riku, do you sometimes ask for advice?
Yes.
Who do you usually ask for advice?
My parents and teacher.
Do you think the advice that you get from your parents and your teachers is usually good? Does it help you?
Yes. Of course.
Nice.
“Of course.” Yeah. On Day 5, Riku, you’ll share with us some good advice that you have received.

Now, let’s look at this week’s dialogue. Mika is about to ask Dad for some advice.
A little while ago, Mika had a disagreement with her friend Rumi. Because for their video club project,
Rumi didn’t vote for Mika’s idea.
Yeah. Rumi voted for Taiga’s idea. Taiga is the leader of the video club. Mika was also upset because Rumi
didn’t tell her that she was going to vote for Taiga’s idea.
Right. It seems that Mika and Rumi are still having some trouble. And Mika doesn’t know what to do about it.
