ショーンが週末に見に行こうとしている新しいアクション映画について、テルマはすでに見てきた、と答えます。
(When Shawn says there’s a new action movie they’re going to see this weekend, Thelma says she’s already seen it.)
ショーンに感想を聞かれて、テルマは「私に言わせれば」と言う際に if you ask me を使っています。
if you ask me は文字どおりには「あなたが私に尋ねるのなら」ですが、これは「言わせてもらえば」とか「私に言わせれば」と自分なりの意見を伝える際の決まりフレーズです。
相手から聞かれたときだけでなく、自分から言いたいことを主張することもできます。
