鍵をかけるのをお忘れなく!
「鍵をかける」「戸締まりする」 という意味の動詞で、 lock はとても便利。もちろんlock は名詞でも使いますが、動詞でより多く使われます。(Lock is a very useful verb that means “to lock the door” or “to lock the door.” Of course, lock can also be used as a noun, but it is used more often as a verb.)

Did you lock the car? (車の鍵をかけましたか?)や How do l lock the door? (どうやって戸締まりしますか?) といった活用を確認しておきましょう。 さらに、 lock を使って自分なりに文を作ってみてく

take out のような句動詞は柔軟に形を変えて使えます。
「迎えに行く」という意味の pick up も同様で、 「駅に妹を迎えに行かなくてはいけません」 と言う場合、
I need to pick up my sister at the station.
I need to pick my sister up at the station.
のどちらも自然に伝わります。 ただし、 me や you など代名詞とセットで使うときは、pick me up のように、 動詞と副詞あるいは前置詞の間に代名詞を入れて言います。

「ペットボトル」 を英語で言うと?
