「家族写真 (family pictures)」 で英語スピーキング
ここ数十年で家族写真の形は変わりましたね。 本のアルバムより携帯電話で写真を見せることが多いはず。 家族写真もスピーキングの練習に使えますよ。(The format of family photos has changed over the past few decades. You’ll probably be more likely to show photos on your cell phone than in a book album. You can also use family photos to practice speaking.)
最初に写真を開いて、 This is ~ . (これは~です) と家族の誰かを紹介します。
そして、いつ撮ったどんな状況の写真か、 補足説明のプラス1文を言ってみましょう。知らず知らずのうちに1枚の写真について2文、 3文と言えるようになります。 ところで、 もしお子さんに英語を話せるようになってほしいと願うなら、 親の自分が実際に英語を使っている姿を少しでも見せてあげてください。 英語が得意でなくてもいいので、 家族写真を眺めながら。Just try to use English in front of your children!
(Then, add one additional sentence to explain when the photo was taken and what situation it was in. Before you know it, you’ll be able to say two or three sentences about a photo. By the way, if you want your child to be able to speak English, please show them at least a little bit of how you actually use English. You don’t have to be good at English, so enjoy while looking at family photos.)
