けんとは最近、フィオナをさけていましたが、夕方、リビングにフィオナとふたりだけでいることに気づき、ぎこちなく声をかけます。
(Kento has been avoiding Fiona lately, but one evening, when he notices her and Fiona alone in the living room, he awkwardly calls out to her.)

-Tell Me More 「高級な」「豪華な」fancy
日本語の「ファンシー」とはニュアンスがちがいます。
(The nuance is different from the Japanese word “fancy.”)
ストーリーでは、けんとが「いつもとはちがう高級ですてきなカフェ」という意味で fancy café と言っていましたよ。
(In the story, Kento said “fancy cafe” to mean “a fancy cafe that’s different from the usual.”)
日本語でファンシーと言えば「かわいらしい」というニュアンスが入ることもありますが、アメリカでは「豪華でおしゃれなもの」「高級なもの」について fancy を使うことが多いです。
(In Japanese, the word “fancy” sometimes has the connotation of “cute,” but in the United States, “fancy” is often used to refer to “something luxurious and fashionable,” or “something high-class.”)

たとえば、
