Did your school have a uniform?
Yes. In my school, we wear(→wore) uniforms, such as blazer, skirts for the girls, trousers for the boys, shirts, jersey, tie, socks, and shoes. They all had logos in it (→them).
Mmm, the school logo?
Yeah.
I see. Did you like your uniform?
Yeah. It was really cute. It was blue and gray.
Wow. Nice.
Blue and gray. Nice.
Yeah. And our blazer was black.
Ooh. Cool.
How did you get to school?
Every day, my dad drove me by his car to school.
Some schools have(had) a school bus, and some schools that don’t(→ didn’t) have a school bus use(d) public transportation. In my school, we use(d) public transportation, but my dad drove me to school every day.
Nice.
Did your school serve lunch?
My school didn’t serve lunch. We had to bring lunch from home every day. But in my school, we have(→had) a little convenience store, where you could buy snacks, food like bread, cake, and even bunny chow.

My summer vacation was for a month, from the second week of December to the first week of January. In South Africa, summer vacation is Christmas period.
