I woke up today
to a facebook notification フェースブックのお知らせで目が覚めました
that said my information has been shared　私の情報が外の会社で共有されたと
with outside companies.
I was one of 87 million people
who’s information got leaked.　情報がリークされた
My public profile　私のプロフィール
My page likes　お気に入りページ
my birthday
and my hometown are now public　私のホームタウンが公開に
I expected to be angry!
to delete my facebook 私のフェースブックを削除して
and tweet my anger at everyone!　怒りを皆につぶやく
But i’m not angry and i don’t even use twitter でも私は怒ってない。つぶやいてもいない
Some data company now knows my birthday あるデータ会社が私の誕生日を知っている
and my page likes
So what.　それがどうした。
I put that information there 情報をそこに置いて、
I am responsible for it　それに責任がある
I want the world to know my birthday 私は世界に私の誕生日を知ってほしい。
because I want them to greet me on it.　私は誕生日におめでとうと言ってほしいから。

Snapchat
come at the cost of our information　情報の代償を払ってやってくる
so that we can connect with each other　お互いを結びつけるように
and so that this is free
my stupid information got leake and it shouldn’t have 私の愚かな情報がリークされた。
but we should know
if you put something on the internet　もしネット上に公開したら、
Most likely someone will see it 誰かがそれを見て
or make money off of it!　それからお金儲けをする
in that case そういう場合は
ask yourself　自問して
what will you put on the internet?　ネット上に何を
